One Performers Path To Sound And Healing Composers throughout time have sought for and attempted ascension upon Sound’s invisible wings. For Kathleen this sacred connection was remembered at the age of 5 on a Christmas morning when a toy trumpet sat calling to her from under the tree. She remembered the tears of joy and recognition welling up from some deep and sacred place inside of me. Now, it is comical and precious to consider her parents’ bewilderment at this unexpected response to a plastic trumpet in a fake alligator skin case! But from that point on, she knew she was a musician.
After 18 years of performing in symphony orchestras playing the french horn, teaching music education and directing musical theater productions, she forged through the ingredients of crafted “classical” melody, harmony and structure, and found the power, beauty and healing properties of tone and harmonics.
For the past 19 years Kathleen has been a BioAcoustic Research Associate. Ms. Nagy specializes in Voice Energy Analysis and Acoustic Biofeedback for sports or muscle injuries. She was a member of the Board of Directors for Sound Health International of Ohio for 4 years (2005-2009) and has worked closely with Sharry Edwards, founder of Human BioAcoustics.
Ms. Nagy also studied for 3 years with Sarah Benson- toning and vocal sound healing techniques.

Kathleen Nagy has several decades of professional experience as a classically trained musician. She majored in music education and applied music on French Horn at Ithaca College and did her graduate work at Yale University. She has taught music in both public and private schools from elementary school through adult education. She has recorded a french horn solo CD called Prayer Songs.
Ms. Nagy’s has also worked for 10 years in the Television and Motion Picture industry as an Escalation Team member managing critical accounts for Avid Technology where she honed her technical computer acumen which allowed her to launch this website for Sound Healing technologies.
